Ariana’s first mission – chapter 1

This is the draft of the first story of my latest book. Instead of one long novel, this book will be a collection of stories from Ariana’s early career in the Scouts along with her best friend, the Soletian Treanka. Here is Chapter 1.

Chapter 1

Ariana had just completed her term at the Scout Academy and just came on board the destroyer Joon-Kim for her pilot training mission. There were several other new Scout Academy graduates on board. She roomed with one of the few non-Terrans in her class at the Academy, a Soletian named Treanka.

Treanka was about a foot taller than Ariana at just over 6 feet. She had pale yellow skin, blond hair with bright blue eyes. She and Ariana had become friends at the Academy. They studied and trained together often. Treanka was friendly, outgoing and was enjoying her experience on the Joon-Kim.

It was one of the many things that Ariana liked about Treanka. If they were not such good friends, Ariana would probably just stay in her room most of the time to study. Even though Treanka was the only Soletian in the Academy she was very popular and always made sure to take Ariana to whatever events she went to.

This behavior continued in their training mission as she told Ariana at lunch one day “You have to come to the party tonight. The new engineering officers are going to be demonstrating some crazy new device. My friend Terena says it will almost certainly explode.”

Ariana laughed and said “That sounds pretty hilarious. Count me in.”

Ariana and Treanka went down to the cargo area at the bottom of the ship. They were sitting near the demonstration area drinking with a few other recent graduates when a young engineer explained the intricacies of the new automated airlock door opener. Terena who was sitting near them whispered “It’s not ventilated properly. We will most likely all be killed.”

The engineer who was talking then moved to the side and a few others began operating the device and it worked flawlessly. There was a smattering of applause as they kept showing off how it worked. Suddenly there was a buzzing noise and shortly thereafter the explosion that Terena had predicted went off.

Somehow the force threw one of the engineers backwards and he landed across Ariana and Treanka’s laps. He looked up at them and said “Am I dead and are you angels?”

Ariana and Treanka both laughed at him and Treanka said “That’s the worst thing I’ve ever heard. Ryas you will be dead if you don’t get up and come up with better lines!”

Ryas reluctantly slid off of the two young women and said “How can I thank you for saving my life with your amazing laps?”

Treanka held up her glass and said “These need filling up.”

When he left with their glasses Treanka said “You should ask him to dance. He really likes you.”

Ariana said “I don’t believe you. Why do you think that?”

Treanka said “My first clue was earlier when he said ‘Who is your pretty friend? I really like her.’”

Ariana said “Really? He said that?”

Treanka said “Yes. That is what he said. And he seemed sincere. If you don’t ask him to dance then I will ask him and you will have to find someplace else to sleep tonight.”

Ariana looked at her friend and could not tell if she was serious or not. She decided not to take the chance and when Ryas came back with their drinks Ariana stood up and said “This is one of my favorite songs. Would you like to dance with me?”

Ryas smiled and said “What a coincidence? Suddenly it is my favorite song too.”

As Ariana and Ryas danced together she said “You and your friend were very entertaining talking about your proposed device. I could never speak to a group like that.”

Ryas held her close and said “You should have seen us when we first started practicing the demonstration. We were terrible. It just takes practice. Gator is much better at it than I am.”

He looked over at his engineering colleague who was now dancing with both Treanka and Terena. Ariana asked “Why is he called Gator?”

Ryas said “He’s called that because he’s always smiling and you can see all his teeth.”

Ariana looked over again and he was smiling and talking with the two women he was dancing with.

After a few dances Ryas said “I’m really hungry. Would you like to get some food with me?”

Ariana said “Sure, I am not hungry but I would like go with you though.”

The food at the party had been picked over so they went up to the ship’s cafeteria. It was empty at this late hour and she sat with him while he ate some pizza. Ariana laughed at his stories about the airlock device.

When he finished his pizza Ryas said “I don’t have my assignment yet. We still have more training before we get placed. Hopefully it will be on a ship like this one. I am very interested in learning more about the ship’s drives and all the things that keep it going. Do you know what you will be doing?”

Ariana said “Yes. I just found out that I will be the new pilot on a two person scout ship. I haven’t met the captain yet, though I read about him.”

Ryas said “That’s very exciting. You will get to do so much exploring.”

Ariana said “I agree. I am looking forward to it.”

Ariana scooted around the table so she was sitting next to him and said “What would you like to do now?”

Ryas finished drinking his water and said “Do you want to go back to the party?”

Ariana leaned up to kiss him and said “No.”

Ryas returned the kiss and pulled her over onto his lap. They kissed again and he said “Can we go to your room? I share mine with 5 other engineers.”

Ariana kissed him again and said “Yes, let’s try it. Hopefully Treanka and Terena are still busy with your friend Gator.”

They walked holding hands down to Ariana’s room. They entered the dimly lit room and heard the sound of kissing coming from the far bed. Terena was sitting on Treanka’s lap and the both had their tops off.

Treanka looked over to the door and said “Don’t just stand there with the door open.”

Ariana and Ryas came in the room and stood by the door and just looked at the two women holding each other.

Terena said “Gator got us pretty excited and then he passed out.” Terena then went back to kissing Treanka’s neck.

Ariana and Ryas looked around the room and saw Gator’s clothes piled up between the beds.

Treanka said “I wouldn’t go into the bathroom unless you want to see him naked. He’s still in there.” Then she added “You should stay if you want too. We will be pretty busy over here and I’m sure you don’t want to go to his room.”

Treanka then stopped talking as Terena had taken one of her pale orange nipples into her mouth and began to kiss and lick it.

Ryas looked at Ariana and said “What should we do?”

Ariana looked at Ryas and how handsome he was and then over at Treanka and Terena kissing on the bed. She said “I’m staying here.”  Ariana pulled Ryas over to her bed and they began kissing too.

Ariana moved on top of Ryas and was on his lap and he pulled her top off to expose her small round breasts. He said “You’re so beautiful.” He then leaned in and took one of her small pink nipples into his mouth.

Ariana ran her hands through his short blond hair and moved his head over to her other breast for a minute. Ariana reluctantly pulled Ryas’ head up and reached down and pulled his shirt up to reveal his tanned, lightly muscled chest.

Ariana softly ran her hands across his chest when there was a gasp followed by a “Whoa.”  They all turned to look at Terena who was still sitting in Treanka’s lap.”

Terena smiled and said “Oops. I didn’t mean to say that out loud.”

Treanka looked mad and said “I would normally be very upset if someone said that while we were making love, but wow!”

Ariana said. “Just ignore them. They are crazy.”

Then Ariana added “But they are right.”

Ariana leaned back in to kiss him again and slowly slid her hand inside his pants so she could stroke his hard erection. She only did that for a little bit before she reached down to pull his pants off. Ariana looked up at Ryas as she continued to stroke him and said “I only did this once before and it was a while ago. So if I am not doing it right, please tell me.”

Ryas looked down at Ariana, ran his fingers through her short brown hair and said “You are more of an expert than I am. I never did it for a guy at all.”

Ariana giggled and there was a snort and a laugh from the other bed too. Ariana and Ryas looked over and Terena said “Stop making us laugh. Treanka has work to do.” Treanka smiled and went back to licking between Terena legs.

Ariana still had a firm grip on the shaft and opened her mouth to give the head a soft lick and then a kiss. Ryas just sat back running his hands through Ariana’s hair as she took the head into her mouth. He said “That’s perfect.”

Ariana stroked his shaft slowly while she continued to kiss and lick the head. Ryas was getting more excited by Ariana’s attentions. He reluctantly pulled her head away and pushed her back so he could quickly pull of her uniform pants and underwear.

Ryas went back to kissing her breasts and slowly slid his hand down her body until he used a finger to massage her clit. Ariana let out a soft moan when he first touched her there. He then used his thumb there and slipped a finger inside her very wet opening.

Ariana was getting more and more excited until finally she could not stand it anymore. She pushed Ryas back onto the bed and climbed on top of him. She straddled his hips and they both moaned in unison as she lowered herself onto him.

Ariana worked her hips up and down on top of Ryas and he matched her motions as he thrust himself inside her. They were both lost in their own lovemaking and were oblivious to the moans coming from Terena and Treanka in the other bed.

As they got closer to their climaxes Ryas pulled Ariana down to him. They kissed as he rolled her over so that he was now on top and pushed himself inside her faster and faster until they both screamed with pleasure as he came inside her and her body shook with her own orgasm.

Both couples lay naked and exhausted on their beds for several minutes. The silence was broken when the bathroom door opened and Gator walked out and looked at each couple and said “I think I may have missed something important.” Treanka and Terena both reached out and pulled him to their bed. Treanka said “Next time don’t drink so much and we will show you what you missed.”
